Transferring TS2010 to a new computer is relatively simple.
First back up the complete N3V/TS2010 folder to an external drive. One of those plug-in hard disks you can purchase at Staples, Best Buy, or some other big-box or office store in your location will work, or you can order one through Amazon or even New Egg for example.
Be aware that the actual copying of the FULL TS2010 install can take time and lots of it so it's best to kick this off before you go to bed and ensure your PC is fully updated to prevent any unwanted reboots.
Once the data has been fully copied, you then copy the folder back to your new system. Again, this can take time so be prepared to wait.
With the data copied, navigate in Windows Explorer, or File Explorer as it's now called to where you copied TS2010.
Open up the bin folder, and create shortcuts on your desktop for Launcher and Content Manager.
Install DirectX 09c for the video, otherwise the program will fail. You can download this from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429
Before running, you need to enable Admin access for the program. Right-click on the newly created short-cut, and check Run as Administrator on the Compatibility tab.
TS2010 will run fine now on your new computer.
You will need to associate CDPs with Content Manager. Do this by holding shift and right-clicking on a CDP file. In the Open with..., choose More..., on your computer and browse to where CM is installed.
