Your card is at our minimum spec but unfortunately the graphics driver support for Intel HD graphics is not good and this card appears to work for some and not for others (which is most likely to do with the state of their Operating System or possibly what other software is running at the time you try to run Trainz).
A Ram upgrade is probably an option as well; https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201...

If you machine is 2013 or newer, then you have a problem. The memory is soldered on to the board and replacing it is impossible. You might have a chance at running a Mac based Trains like T1 or T2 ... but you would need to make sure that you do not have dozens of programs running in the background. Most people do not realize just how much they have running all the time in the background. There is no knowing if shutting them down would help. You could just try and see what happens. It just a possibility.
What you really needed was a MBP with the second graphics unit. They are separate and have their own VRAM. The computer can determine which graphics system that the current program requires.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
