Clearly your experience with TANE is not as good as your experience with TS12. However, many other people have the opposite view. And the notion that N3V "do not care" is far from the truth - we are doing everything we possibly can to provide support and advice for the Trainz Community.
For example, if we didn't care, we wouldn't have a support helpdesk or be creating new websites like this one where people can ask questions and get answers.
What might be better than asking open ended questions like this one would be to ask a specific question.
Q. Should I expect the same performance from TANE with a 3km draw distance with shadows and post-processing turned ON as 3km draw distance in TS12?
A. No. However you should expect the same or better performance in TANE with shadows off, and post-processing off as in TS12 (i.e. comparing like-for-like). This is because additional graphical features put some additional load on your hardware.
