Understand that you'd probably need a beer after the frustration you're experiencing - but we're going to need to get some more details from you about the circumstances leading up to the error message you're getting so that we can resolve your problem of getting Trainz to work.
1st question I have is: What version of Trainz are you trying to install? (Build number? TS12? T:ANE Standard or Deluxe? etc.)
What platform? (i.e. Windows, MAC, Steam version, etc.)
Did you buy a boxed version, or download a digital version? If Digital, did it unpack successfully?
What computer are you trying to install your version of Trainz on? Does it meet the minimum specifications requirements for Trainz?
(If T:ANE) Did you correctly enter your User name and a Password into the Settings Dialog Box on the Internet tab under the heading MyTrainz and then click on the 'Create Account' button?
Getting some of these questions answered will help us to guide you towards a satisfactory solution.
Alternatively, contact the N3V Helpdesk to clarify the status of your purchase and seek their help to resolve the 'unauthorized' situation.
