Which version (build) of Trainz do you have?
If it has been successfully installed and your User ID and other credentials established on the Trainzportal site, then you can expect to be able to download tens of thousands of user-created assets from the Download Station for free.
Some items are Payware, but by far the majority of assets on the DLS are available without charge to registered owners of any Trainz simulator version.
