I had the same issue. My Video card was incapable of supporting DX11. After an upgrade it loaded and worked fine.

What are your computer specifications (particularly the graphics card)?

I've got 6GB of RAM and my graphics card is Intel(R) HD Graphics Family.

Could do with a bit more information than that.
Restart the game (using Task Manager if necessary) then click Developer > Show Logs. Does it contain an error relating to DirectX?

No I dont see anything relating to DirectX.

OK - can I get you to check on dxdiag (enter this in the Run box which you can get to from the Start menu) and look on the Display tab for an entry called DDI version and let me know what it is.

I see a problem there in that case. T:ANE requires that to be 11 which would indicate DirectX 11 support. Which operating system are you using?
